Keremet Bank at the international marathon Run the Silk Road - 2023
On Saturday, May 13, employees of the Keremet Bank took part in an international marathon Run the Silk Road - 2023 on the shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake in Cholpon-Ata.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Athletics Federation, the «Directorate of the International Marathon» Public Association with the support of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main purpose of the event is support and development of sport and active lifestyle among young people of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by 14 employees of the Keremet Bank. The total number of participants of the marathon was more than 3 thousand people from 20 countries. Among them were leading athletes from Kazakhstan, Belarus, China, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
The start and finish of the event took place on the territory of the hippodrome in Baktuu-Dolonotuu village. The participants ran the following distances:
- marathon — 42 kilometers and 195 meters;
- half marathon — 21 kilometers and 97 meters;
- 10-kilometer race;
- 3-kilometer race;
- Nordic walking – 10 kilometers and 3 kilometers.
At the end of the marathon, participants were awarded medals and memorable gifts.
The management of the Keremet Bank expresses special gratitude to the organizers for holding a large-scale event, which has a beneficial effect on the development of sport spirit and active lifestyle of younth of the Kyrgyz Republic!
