"Keremet Bank" cleaned up the Alamedin River on World Cleanup Day
Keremet Bank OJSC constantly takes care of cleanliness and environmental protection, including participation in actions on cleaning and landscaping of settlements, as it is a socially and environmentally responsible company and uses ESG principles (environmental, social and governance). This time too, the Bank's employees made a labor contribution to the beautification of Bishkek, responding to the call of the municipal authorities and joining the city-wide clean-up day on September 16, 2023.
Employees of the financial organization cleaned the bed and bank of the Alamedin River along Torekul Aitmatov Street from Chui Avenue to Leo Tolstoy Street in the capital, collecting 130 bags of garbage. During the previous such mass action in the capital on April 29, 2023, employees together with the state administration of Pervomaisk district of Bishkek cleaned up the park named after A. Botaliev.
Thus, "Keremet Bank" fulfilled the Decree of the President Sadyr Zhaparov "On the National Cleanup Day and Action Plan on establishment of effective infrastructure for household waste management for the period of 2023-2025", signed by the Head of State in September 2022; and supported the global environmental initiative "World Cleanup Day". But most importantly, Keremet Bank's participation in such actions is a manifestation of commitment to preserving the cleanliness and beauty of nature, improving life in the country, and caring for people.
It should be reminded that Keremet Bank OJSC is a member of the Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan; it is also marked with the certificate of compliance "Best Waste Management Practice" from WasteNet.kg.
