Employees of “Keremet Bank” took care of the most defenseless

30 April 2020

Because of the spread of coronavirus infection in the country, not only people were in a difficult situation, but also God's creatures - wild animals and birds that will never adapt to life in the wild. In this regard, “Keremet Bank” decided to transfer part of the funds collected by employees to the Public Fund “Bugu-Ene”, which takes care of more than 150 rescued animals and birds, including the leopard cub Zhaabars, who was blinded by poachers.

Before the announcement of the pandemic, employees of “Bugu-Ene” maintained a sponsored zoo and rehabilitation center in Karakol city out of the proceeds from ticket sales and donations, but because of force majeure situation due to COVID-19, the Fund was forced to massively ask for help from all concerned for the sake of the survival of its pets.

The team of the branch “Keremet Bank-Karakol” contacted the management of “Bugu-Ene”, and after learning what the wards needed, purchased more than 450 kg of food supplies: meat and meat by-products, carrots, cabbages, apples, pumpkins, beets and various greens.

Director of Karakol branch of “Keremet Bank” OJSC Chinargul Ablaeva was allowed to feed the animals: however, she was not allowed to feed the king of animals - the lion, but the acquaintance with herbivores was approved. “I am very happy that our bank has supported various categories of people in need in almost all regions: poor families, medical institutions, orphanages, and even defenseless animals that have become hostages of the situation and are not at all to blame for being completely dependent on us, on people,” Chinargul Ablaeva shared her impressions.

President of the Public Fund “Bugu-Ene” Saltanat Seitova thanked the employees of “Keremet Bank” for their support and invited everyone to the zoo and the rehabilitation center of the same name in Karakol city after the end of the pandemic.
