Employees of Keremet Bank helped people in need in all regions during the quarantine
With the introduction of emergency field and then the state of emergency in Kyrgyzstan, employees of Keremet Bank provided assistance to various groups of people in need: multi-child and poor families, people with disabilities, pensioners, medical institutions, specialized children's institutions, as well as took care of animals and birds.
The bank provided funds to each regional branch to combat the consequences of COVID-19, while employees organized an independent fundraising campaign to fight coronovirus. Regional representatives of Keremet Bank together with local authorities generated lists, contacted recipients, purchased the necessary products and delivered them to their intended destination. As a result, assistance has been provided to more than 150 families in Osh, Kadamjay, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Cholpon-Ata, Talas, Kara-Balta and Bishkek.
The bank also provided support to various medical institutions and medical personnel in Issyk-Kul, Chui, Jalal-Abad regions and Bishkek city. Thanks to Keremet Bank, the room was prepared in Ak-Suu territorial hospital of Issyk-Kul region and the necessary equipment for observation was acquired, construction and installation of special lobby were carried out for isolation of medical staff in the infectious disease department of the United Territorial Hospital of Zhaiyl district of Kara-Balta city, the most vulnerable nurses and technical staff of the Jalal-Abad regional hospital were supported financially. In the capital, as necessary, the requests of doctors from the United Family Practice Center of Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek, Center for Emergency Medicine of Bishkek and the Republican Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital were met.
Employees of Keremet Bank in Zhaiyl district of Chui region helped “YAVNA” Children's Charity Fund and a foster home in Sosnovka village in difficult circumstances.
Unfortunately, the wards of Public Fund Bugu-Ene were also in financial distress - animals and birds left without food in zoo. Keremet Bank decided to transfer a part of the funds collected by its employees to rehabilitation center, which has more than 150 animals and birds in its care including the leopard cub Zhaabars, who was blinded by poachers. Employees of Keremet Bank – Karakol branch contacted representatives of the Fund and purchased for animals more than 450 kg of meat holdings, vegetables, fruits and various greens.
