26 August 2020

Today, Guarantee Fund OJSC and Keremet Bank OJSC have signed an agreement on cooperation in providing guarantees for lending to small and medium-sized businesses in the KR. The document was signed by Chairman of the Management Board of Keremet Bank OJSC Erkinbek Jumabaev and Chairman of the Management Board of Guarantee Fund OJSC Abakirov Malik-Aidar Barktabasovich.

The Bank believes that cooperation with the Fund will have a positive impact on the business environment of Kyrgyzstan. The existing statistics shows that some domestic small and medium-sized businesses that apply to banks for financing have sometimes difficulties in providing sufficient collateral to secure a loan. Now, when applying to Keremet Bank for a loan, business people will be able to take advantage of the joint offer of the Bank and the Fund making it easier to access the necessary resources.

“The development of entrepreneurship in the republic is one of the priorities in the work of the Guarantee Fund,” the head of the Fund Malik-Aidar Barktabasovich said during the signing of the document. “Through such cooperation with partner banks, domestic business people will have access to resources that help to create a favorable business climate in the country.”

The head of Keremet Bank Erkinbek Altymyshevich agrees that this model of cooperation expands the horizons for entrepreneurs contributing to the development of domestic business and the revival of the country's economy as a whole. “I am glad that Keremet Bank has become a part of this important socio-economic project and I am confident that together we will make a significant contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the head of Keremet Bank said.
