GMW-2021: “Keremet Bank” OJSC has conducted excursions for school students from Yurievka, children of employees of the Russian Federation Embassy and business school “Fabrika-Deti”
There have been held a variety of activities on improving the financial literacy of young people within the framework of the international educational campaign Global Money Week from March 22 to March 28, 2021, in many countries of the world. Global Money Week in the Kyrgyz Republic has been held under the patronage of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The whole last week in “Keremet Bank” was full of events, including excursions for school students from Bishkek and regions: for a secondary school named after Ruslan Shabotoev from Yurievka, for the children of employees of the Russian Federation Embassy and students of the ”Fabrika-Deti-Bishkek” business school.
The acquaintance with the bank started from its epicenter – the client service office – “Keremet Bank-Bishkek” branch. School students have learned a lot of new information about modern banking products and services, got acquainted with modern bank technologies, types of payment cards, checked the inner functioning of ATM and found out how to use them.
The little guests got acquainted with the work of the cash collection service: asked a lot of questions about how money was transported, modern ways of protecting the transported valuables, and documents. Under the supervision of adults, children even managed to try on cash collectors equipment: a helmet, body armor, and weapon.
During the excursion, school students were lucky to visit the numismatic exhibition “Numismatics for Protection of the World Fauna”, timed to the Global Money Week – 2021. Specially invited expert Aleksandr Kamyshev, a well-known numismatist, archeologist, and historian in Kyrgyzstan has told young guests about unique collectible coins from over 15 countries of the world.
Such an interactive form of communication with the educational institutions is a good tradition at “Keremet Bank” and is practiced not only within the framework of the Global Money Week, because in the future, excursionists will also somehow have to get in touch with the world of banking products and digital financial solutions.
Having expressed gratitude to the bank for the fruitful cooperation, the young guests went home with new knowledge and positive emotions.
