Keremet Bank launches an interest-free lending program for businesses affected by the pandemic

Keremet Bank OJSC and the State Agency for Budgetary Loans Management under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic signed an Agreement "On emergency support for micro, small and medium-sized businesses."

On the part of Keremet Bank, the Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board Rysbek Toktogulovich Toktogul, on the part of the State Agency for the Management of Budgetary Credits - by the director Zhusubali Kyrgyzbaevich Toromamatov.

The project, funded by the World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, is aimed at restoration   of domestic businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funds allocated in the form of interest-free loan for the term of up to 18 months will be issued in two directions:

  • Direction I - entrepreneurs with a small business and working on the basis of a patent.
  • Direction II - small and medium-sized enterprises that hire employees and operate as legal entities or individual entrepreneurs.

The given model of cooperation is an excellent chance for entrepreneurs to use interest-free credit resources to eliminate the negative consequences in business from COVID-19 and to restore full-fledged activities as soon as possible.
