“Keremet Bank” is proud to contribute to the overall victory of Kyrgyzstan within the global eco-campaign “World Cleanup Day”
According to the results of the global environmental campaign, dedicated to the World Cleanup Day, the Kyrgyz Republic took 1st place among 191 countries of the world.“Keremet Bank” appreciates the country partner of the Let's Do It global movement – the public foundation “Eco Demi” represented by its founder Aizhan Chynybaeva – for the opportunity to contribute to the fight against global pollution of the planet.
World Cleanup Day is an annual event that was initiated in Estonia to raise awareness of the waste problem and help people to make their own contribution in solving it. On September 18, 2021, an eco-campaign on cleaning up the planet from litter in public places took place, people from over 190 countries supported the initiative and joined in cleaning up the planet simultaneously on that day.
“Keremet Bank” also was able to contribute to the cleanup of the environment as well as the homeland from litter. Within the framework of the World Cleanup Day, the employees of “Keremet Bank” cleared up the Gorky Park and the territory near the head office of the bank from spontaneous litter. The collected litter was immediately sorted into plastic, glass and other waste, some of it was sent for recycling, and the rest was sent to municipal waste disposal sites.
Everybody sees that the waste problem in Kyrgyzstan is extremely acute, but for some reason most residents treat their homeland as a landfill, leaving their bottles, cigarette butts, wrappers, bags, sunflower husks and other waste in nature, parks and public places.
“Keremet Bank” encourages all people of Kyrgyzstan to support this noble initiative and begin to treat nature more carefully, to keep cleanliness, to participate in volunteer cleanups and landscaping of the country!
Let's start loving our own Kyrgyzstan, not just in words, but in deeds as well!
