“Keremet Bank” was awarded for its contribution to the development of the national payment system “Elcart”

CJSC “Interbank Processing Center” (“Elcart” national payment system operator) summarized the results of 2021 and awarded “Keremet Bank” OJSC with a gratitude for the long-term cooperation and contribution to the development of the “Elcart” national payment system.

Over the years of work in the banking sector “Keremet Bank” was entrusted servicing of salary projects on the basis of national payment system by more than 850 companies, and today the bank provides services for more than 65 000 “Elcart” cards, and the number is growing every day, as well as the services provided are getting better and better.

“Keremet Bank”, focused on the digitalization of its products, always tries to introduce the latest technology, thus one of the first in the country managed to establish contactless cards “Elcart” based on NFC technology.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology of contactless data exchange between a special reader terminal and a payment card at the distance of up to 10 cm with no risk of data loss or interception - card number data are used in encrypted form and are not transmitted anywhere.

Due to the joint project of “Keremet Bank” OJSC and CJSC “Interbank Processing Center” as well as the integration of the mobile application  “ELKART Mobile” with the bank's client base more opportunities opened up for banking operations with the national cards “Elkart” issued by all banks of the country. As a result of the project, any member of the national payment system “Elcart” can replenish deposits, current accounts or card accounts, as well as make money transfers and repay loans to clients of “Keremet Bank” on a 24/7 basis.
