Payment by cards on the Internet
PAY FOR YOUR PURCHASES SAFELY!
OJSC "Keremet Bank" has implemented 3D Secure technology for safe payment of purchases on the Internet, thus, holders of Visa payment cards can pay for goods and services via the Internet with a high level of protection.
Нolders of payment cards are connected to the technology of 3D Secure: VisaClassic, VisaGold, Visa Infinite. When carrying out operations on sites that support 3D-Secure technology, the cardholder must confirm each transaction with a unique password that is sent as a SMS message to the mobile phone number of the cardholder registered with the bank.
A distinctive sign that the purchase is made using 3D Secure technology is the VerifiedbyVisa logo on the online store website:
Security measures when conducting transactions on the Internet
- The possibility of paying with your card on the Internet is activated by a separate application at the Bank. In case you do not plan to use the card on the Internet, we do not advise you to activate this service. If possible, do not use your card on the Internet.
- Entering a PIN-code when paying online is not required! PIN-code is used only when carrying out operations on terminals and only with the help of a special device - PIN pad - keyboard.
- Never tell anyone the full card number, expiration date, or CVV (the last three digits on the back of the card in the signature field).
- In case you use online stores where the data on your card is tied to the profile created and when you do not need to re-enter the data, be sure to leave your profile after making the payment and do not tell anyone your ID and password.
- The Bank is not liable for transactions committed on fraudulent sites. The level of fraud in the Internet is inexorably growing. Therefore, we advise you to follow all safety precautions when using the card on the Internet.
IMPORTANT!!!
To perform transactions online you need to visit any branch office of the bank and activate the Internet purchase service, as well as SMS-notification service, so that you can receive a confirmation code (password) on the mobile device.
Also, in a timely manner, report the new phone number in case of its change by applying in writing to any branch office of the Bank.
