"Keremet Bank" has approved the Concepts of "green" financial products - "ECO Heat", "ECO Drive" and «Bilim - Omur Chiragy". This was announced by Amantur Tolebekov, the Commissioner for “Sustainable Development and ESG” of “Keremet Bank” OJSC during the Technical Meeting “Let’s Make Business Sustainable: Climate Initiatives” within the framework of the Project "Advancing development of National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Process for Medium and Long-Term Adaptation Planning and Implementation in the Kyrgyz Republic", which was held on October 19, 2023 in Bishkek.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the “EcoPartner” Legal Entities Consortium. The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN Development Program have also provided assistance in its conduction.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Ainura Usenbekova, representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, UNDP, non-profit and business organizations, intergovernmental funds and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Amantur Tolebekov, the Commissioner for “Sustainable Development and ESG” of “Keremet Bank” OJSC, made a presentation on ““Green Finance” Initiatives and Sustainable Development of the Bank,” in which he spoke about the “green” banking activities of the financial institution, which is represented by him and is responsible for financing and environmental initiatives.
Among the multiple ongoing initiatives of the financial institution and its contribution to solving the tasks of the Global Climate Agenda, in order to collect expert opinions, he presented the projects of financial products and informed that j just a few days ago the Keremet Bank approved the concepts of three “green” loan products with self-explanatory names such as “ECO Heat”, “ECO Drive”, “Bilim - Omur Chiragy”.
