"Keremet Bank" OJSC took part in the annual event "Green Waste Leaders" 2023

Today, on May 19, "Keremet Bank" OJSC has taken part in the annual event "Green Waste Leaders" 2023. The event has been organized by the "ESG Central Asia" agency.

The event is timed to the celebration of the World Environment Day.

The year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the World Environment Day and will be held with a focus on issue of plastic pollution. Over the past decades, the day has become one of the world's largest platforms for promoting environmental ideas.

The main goal of the event is to strengthen the reputation of the logistics and recycling industry, as well as to encourage organizations in different sectors to implement waste management systems.

Thus, today "Keremet Bank" OJSC has been awarded the certificate of conformity "The Best Waste Management Practice" from WasteNet.kg - a prototype of the voluntary environmental certification WasteNet.kg - which means that the Company has passed the test for compliance of its internal waste management system with the requirements and established criteria of the "Improving Waste Collection and Recycling System in the Kyrgyz Republic" Project and has the right to apply the "Best Recycle Practice" mark for public demonstration of environmental responsibility of the organization.
